At the same time, Mohammad Barkatullah urged the Chief Advisor to take government initiative to expedite the trial of the Abrar Fahad murder case.

Mohammad Barkatullah stated, "He was brutally beaten to death by terrorists for speaking for the country. He spoke in the interest of the nation, against unequal water distribution."

Abrar Fahad's father further added, "His mother still cries out for her son. No other mother should have to endure the pain of losing a child; no other mother's lap should be emptied."

He also informed the Chief Advisor that local residents in Kushtia have been demanding a bridge over the Gorai River for a long time. Mohammad Barkatullah requested the Chief Advisor to take initiative for its construction, noting that approximately 30,000 people are suffering due to the lack of a bridge.

Abrar Fayyaz, Abrar Fahad's younger brother, requested the Chief Advisor to make all educational institutions more student-friendly.

Abrar Fayyaz, a third-year student at BUET, said, "Our educational institutions are still not student-friendly. There's a shortage of necessary labs, equipment, and other facilities for studies. We have high expectations from the interim government. We want this government to take steps to make educational institutions student-friendly."

Additionally, he urged the government to take strict measures to stop ragging at BUET. Abrar Fayyaz stated, "Incidents of oppression at BUET are not new. They have happened before. The incidents that occurred previously need to be investigated and prosecuted."

The Chief Advisor stated, "The brutal beating and killing of Abrar Fahad stunned the entire nation. A fair trial for this incident will certainly be completed. A list of those killed in attacks by Awami League and its affiliated organizations' cadres before the July 2024 mass uprising will be compiled, and each incident will be investigated. Furthermore, investigations are ongoing into the killings carried out by state forces at the direction of the former government. The government has already taken action."
