This deal is aimed at strengthening the safety and protection of Bangladeshi migrant workers in the Kingdom.

Speaking at an event on Saturday (August 2), Dr. Nazrul stated that such a comprehensive agreement is unprecedented in Bangladesh's history, highlighting that even neighboring countries like India and Pakistan do not have similar deals.

He expressed confidence that this accord will significantly improve the security of Bangladeshi expatriates working in Saudi Arabia.

Dr. Nazrul also mentioned that the government has already initiated the process of sending workers to Malaysia who were unable to travel last year despite having valid tickets and visas.

He urged prospective migrant workers to be cautious and well-informed, advising against going abroad in a state of desperation.

He emphasized that spending a large sum of money for an uncertain future is risky, stating that a person with a similar amount of capital could start a small business in Bangladesh and live comfortably.
