Special prayers and supplications (Dua and Munajat) have been arranged in all mosques across Bangladesh for the tragic deaths of many, including innocent children, after a Bangladesh Air Force training aircraft crashed into a school.
The Islamic Foundation (IF) has specifically requested all concerned, including Khatibs, Imams, and mosque committees, to organize these prayers.
This decision was made at a meeting of the Advisory Council on Thursday (July 24).
A press release stated that the IF has specially requested Khatibs, Imams, and mosque committees of all mosques nationwide to take necessary measures to organize special Dua and Munajat sessions after Jummah prayers tomorrow (Friday) for the salvation of the souls of those killed in the plane crash and the recovery of the injured.
Government Decisions Following Plane Crash
Meanwhile, the Advisory Council's meeting also made three decisions regarding the plane accident. These decisions were announced in a message sent by the Press Wing on Thursday.
The Press Wing reported that a regular meeting of the Advisory Council was held at the Chief Adviser's office on Thursday morning.
At the start of the meeting, a motion of condolence was adopted in memory of those killed in the plane crash at Milestone School and College.
One minute of silence was observed in their honor, and prayers were offered for the salvation of their souls.
It was decided that the government would provide all necessary assistance to the families of the deceased and for the medical treatment of the injured in this tragic accident.
To this end, the Ministry of Education will discuss with the school authorities to determine the next steps.
The Advisory Council also decided to grant state honors to the two teachers who died in the school. The details of these honors will be finalized very soon.
