Three of a Family Killed in Tangail Road Accident

A tragic road accident in Tangail's Basail upazila claimed the lives of three members of the same family after their microbus rammed into the rear of a parked truck. Three others sustained injuries in the incident.

The accident took place on Tuesday morning (June 3) at the Koratipara Bypass area along the Dhaka-Tangail highway.

Basail Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Jalal Uddin confirmed the incident. He stated that the microbus lost control and slammed into the stationary truck, killing a father and his two sons on the spot.

Three other passengers were injured and have been admitted to Tangail Sadar Hospital for treatment.
