President Trump Looks Forward to Meeting PM Tarique, Hails Boeing Deal

US President Donald Trump has said he looks forward to meeting Prime Minister Tarique Rahman in the “not too distant future” while extending his warmest regards and love to the people of Bangladesh.

President Trump conveyed the message in a letter sent to Prime Minister Tarique Rahman on Tuesday, according to Prime Minister’s Additional Press Secretary Atikur Rahman Ruman.

“I look forward to meeting you in the not too distant future,” President Trump wrote in the letter.

The US president also thanked PM Tarique Rahman for Bangladesh’s decision to purchase Boeing aircraft, expressing confidence that the US aerospace company would fulfill its commitments.

“Boeing will not let you down, and I will not forget,” President Trump said.

President Trump further expressed optimism about Bangladesh’s prospects under the leadership of Prime Minister Tarique Rahman, saying he was confident that the country and its people would have a bright future.

“Please give my warmest regards and love to the people of Bangladesh. They have been through much but, under your leadership, I feel certain that they, and your Country itself, will have a very bright future,” the US president said.

In the letter, President Trump also thanked the prime minister for his attention to the purchase of Boeing aircraft.
